Fina was introduced to the scene in the LA underground
in late 1997, where she was instantly magnetized to
sound of drum n bass. It was then that she realized
that she wanted to have an affect on people the same
way DJs had affected her. She was influenced by the
turntablist styles of local LA DJs such as DJ Deacon,
R.A.W, APX-1, SDF-1 and Oscar Da Grouch.

Fina moved to Denver in late 1998. A couple years later
she was given the opportunity to learn to "spin"
records. She leaned the basics quickly, from then on
she was hooked like crack. Motivated by LA-based hip
hop scene, she sought out to spin underground hip hop
while still maintaining her love and admiration for
drum n bass.
DJ
Fina aspires to conquer all aspects of being a DJ; including
mixing, scratching, and beat juggling. She will most
certainly continue to grow and evolve as a turntablist
and drum n bass DJ.
